West Bank Archaeology

"This course examines the Bible in relation to the archaeology and material culture of the Ancient Near East. It will explore how archaeological discoveries contribute to our understanding of the events, personalities and narratives of the Hebrew Bible."

Named "Bible and Archaeology", this course is generally seen to debunk religious tales and was originally to be named "The Bible, the Archaeologist, and the Critical Mind", but the name length was restricted due to limits on the register. The course is cross-listed with Jewish Studies and Religious Studies.

My group's first presentation was an investigation into the ruins of Tel Ta'anach. The final presentation was on findings at the ruins identified as Shechem. I demonstrated leadership qualities while managing creative talent to get the class projects done.

  • Selected my partners carefully to create a balanced, powerful group.
  • Delegated work to all group members to ensure deadlines would be met.
  • Detected that a group member was not doing the work delegated and spoke with him outside of class to ensure project completion.
  • United group members and resolved potential issues in team dynamics.
  • Finalized multimedia-enhanced powerpoint presentations.

Mam ogromną prośbę, bo właśnie planuję utworzyć blog przybliżony do Twojego.
